I love my little leather flower pin/pendants because they are so versatile.
I wear mine as a pendant, but also pinned to hats, purses, scarves, clothing, etc.
Most often it is on a 3mm sterling silver neck wire, but I have another a bit wider
that won't fit through the bail. Many years ago I was admiring a pin in a boutique
but conveyed that I didn't wear pins often. The woman helping me shared
a trick that has come in handy many times (and it helped sell the pin).
the chain or neck ring you wish to use. Cut it long enough to fit the pin width so you can
close the clasp easily. Slide the neck ring through the straw or tubing. Voilà... that's it!
Pins seem to rise and fall in popularity and there are probably many jewelry boxes filled
with pins that once belonged to mothers and grandmothers that never get worn.
This is a great way to use pins that are neglected if you are a pendant person!
