I have been busy unpacking and reorganizing after being in New York since mid May.
I took photos of Rima, the little jumping girl below, in 2004 while living in Shanghai.
She was a student of mine during the time I taught art at Rainbow Bridge
International School. She is doing exactly what I've been doing since May,
when Greg was offered a position back home in Charlotte.
I'm not kidding... you can ask him.
and although everything is not put away yet, it felt really good to work on orders
in my happy space. The cuff in progress is going to a customer in Virginia.
Pennsylvania in April through June; after Greg accepted the new job,
I withdrew from three in NY so I wouldn't be up there without him!
Here are some favorite faces (and the back of two cute heads) from the Spoutwood Fairie Festival
in Glen Rock PA (including artist friends Susan Tolis and Joyce Ritz, who surprised me with a visit!!)...
and some more from the Lake Eden Arts Festival (LEAF) in Black Mountain, NC;
also some recent inanimate ones discovered here and there along the way.
"Hey, I like your shoe clips... we match!" And I respond, "Why, yes we do!!"
And if you want to jump up and down to demonstrate just how passionate you are about something, go ahead!!
