for awhile, other than a Labor Day weekend visit... his first time in NC since Easter. It will be
good to get back to our home in NC, though; I have missed the view from my Charlotte studio.
It has been a busy summer with 10 arts festivals in NY, MD, and PA since arriving in May.
One more in PA this weekend on the way home, then September shows in NC and WV.
The Carolina Renaissance Festival begins in Charlotte in October and runs for eight weekends.
I'm very excited about that one!
I have had some favorite spring and summer shows, like the Spoutwood Farm Faerie Festival, the
New York Faerie Festival (although I could have done without some of the rain and mud), and the
Pocono State Craft Festival. There's something magical about fairy festivals, and the music at the
NY Faerie Festival and Pocono State Craft Festival was very special and kept me from sitting still.
The Hobbit, meets Pirates of the Caribbean, meets Braveheart, meets The Breakfast Club.
This was one of my first visitors. She was so cute!
I loved that she wanted to show me her purple cupcake (2nd photo from the left)!
limited and I didn't get to compose my photos with much thought. I enjoyed the sights, though!

wandering the grounds with a huge mallet and calling in a deep, booming voice,"Here, Faerie, Faerie."
He towers over the little ones and they are so delighted when they have a chance to triumph over the giant.
I thought this was such a fun idea and it made me wish I was less obsessive.
