This necklace was a gift from the customer's father, who died
when she was quite young. Never satisfied with the way it would lay on her neck, she wanted it reinvented. In its new life, it
is a pendant and pair of earrings.
I feel honored when given a personal heirloom, keepsake, or found object and entrusted to give it a second life. There have
been favorites that I would have enjoyed tucking into my own stash if I could have gotten away with it. I am grateful

Although she wanted the comb to be oriented
vertically, I convinced
her to use it horizontally
to better show the dragon and phoenix.
